1. Introduction
At Combat Studios we respect your privacy and understand your concern about submitting private information to our websites. This statement outlines Combat Studios's privacy policy, explaining what types of information we collect, how we collect it, and what we do with it. This policy applies to all sites owned and operated by Combat Studios LLC.
This policy is deliberately not written in legal language. We want users to be able to understand our policy, and we will gladly explain it if you do not understand. If you have questions about our privacy policy don't hesitate to contact admin@combatstudios.com.
2. Children
Children thirteen years of age and younger are not eligible to use any Combat Studios LLC website unsupervised. We ask that children under thirteen (13) do not submit any personal information to us or attempt to register. By using this site unsupervised and/or registering for an account, you warrant that you are thirteen years of age or older. If we later discover that a registered user is under thirteen, we will delete your account without refund and expunge any personal information collected. Different Combat Studios affiliated websites have different user requirements regarding the ages of users permitted to register. BF2 Combat, www.bf2combat.net , requires users be at least sixteen years of age before registering, as does Vietnam Combat. BF2 Ranked Servers and Combat Testing require users be at least eighteen years of age before registering. No Combat Studios website will intentionally collect personally identifiable information about users under thirteen.
If you are a parent of a child under thirteen and feel that your child may be visiting our website or potentially providing personally identifiable information we urge you to contact admin@combatstudios.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue and insure that no personally identifiable information is publicly visible or is in our database.
Combat Studios has taken steps to ensure that children are unable to register on forums on which they could potentially post public information. We acknowledge, however, that children could potentially subvert these countermeasures. If we discover, or even have grounds to suspect, that a child is under thirteen years of age and has access to forums and have posted personally identifiable information we will deny their access to such areas and delete such information.
3. Personal Information
Combat Studios collects personal information. Personal information on Combat Studios owned and operated sites falls into two different categories, information we collect and retain as part of registration and information users voluntarily provide.
4. Personal Information We Collect Through Registration
On Combat Testing, we will collect personally identifiable information about applicants. We reserve the right to reject applicants based on their answers to the application. That said, we will not discriminate based on race, gender, or sexual orientation. We require all members on our site be at least 18, or the age of majority in their state or country, and we reserve the right to reject applicants if they do not meet this criteria.
We reserve the right to maintain personally identifiable information submitted as part of registration to Combat Testing until we receive an email to admin@combattesting.com containing your username and asking us to remove the information. Please allow us ninety (90) days to remove your information. We reserve the right to maintain personally identifiable information about banned users perpetually and use this information to reject future membership applications.
On sites other than Combat Testing, we reserve the right to collect personal information as a part of our registration process, though we will not necessarily do so. We may collect the following information about members: Country, State or Province, Email address. Despite the fact that this information could not reasonably be used to identify you, we use it only for our own internal uses, and we will never sell or rent this information.
On all sites, we may, from time to time, to use this information to contact you with deals in which we feel you might be interested. If necessary we will contact you via email, but more than likely we will advertise such offers through other, less intrusive, means.
5. Personal Information You Voluntarily Provide
Through the forums, users are able to voluntarily provide personally identifiable information. We do not require users to divulge any such information, and do not encourage users to do so. Once posted, Combat Studios has no control over information, and we urge users to remember that such information could potentially be visible to third parties. We do not regularly monitor information you voluntarily provide. To avoid divulging information you do not want to provide, we urge users to check their profiles, and to be careful before making posts which could potentially reveal information about you. If you or a child have made a post containing personal information and you are unable to delete it, please email admin@combatstudios.com.
6. 'Cookies' and other Non Personally Identifiable Information
Combat Studios websites also collect non personally identifiable information from users using 'cookies'. Cookies are stored on a visitor's computer, and include at what time users connected to our website, what browser they are using, or from what website they were referred, and their ip (internet protocol) address. 'Cookies' are useful to users because they might facilitate log in processes. We do not install tracking cookies or other such 'spyware' on your computer and we never will.
7. Links to Other Sites
As a service to viewers, Combat Studios may provide links to other websites. Though we carefully select websites which we feel are relevant and appropriate, we remind viewers that we are not responsible for the content of such websites. We also can not guarantee the privacy policy of users on such websites and we urge you to check the privacy policies of such websites. Combat Studios forums may also contain links to other websites which we do not screen, and for which we are not responsible. We are not responsible for other partners terms of services. We are also not responsible for the content of any sites which appear in the forums.
8. Security
All information about users we keep remains on limitedly accessible, secure servers. We urge members to remember that Combat Studios' website is not impervious to hackers, and that flawless security is not possible on the internet.
9. Email
Combat Studios will occasionally send emails to our members regarding special promotions from our partners or to announce special events. If you would not like to receive such emails please contact admin@combaststudios.com explaining that you would like to be removed from our email list.
10. Changes to Combat Studios's Privacy Policy
Combat Studios reserves the right to alter any portion of our privacy policy. We will not, however, change any section of it without informing users by email and by posting this information in a prominent place on our website. If we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated in this document we will inform users at least seven (7) days prior to the change. You will be able to decide whether or not we may use information in the new manner.
11. Legal Disclaimer
We may disclose personal information when we are required to by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of law or to comply with a legal process served on our website.
On Combat Testing we may also disclose personally identifiable information about testers to third parties if we consider a non-disclosure agreement has been breached.

13. Contests/Sweepstakes
From time to time Combat Studios may elect to conduct contests or
sweepstakes. Participation in such contests is voluntary, and users will not be required to divulge any personal information. In order to collect a prize, however, users may be required to divulge information either via email or an alternative medium of exchange. We will never share any information collected with a third party, or use it for purposes other than locating a winner to ship him or her prizes.
